THE GIFT IN BEING BROKE

THERE’S A GIFT IN BEING BROKE AFTER MIS-MANAGING MONEY .... no need to be ashamed.

Ask any successful entrepreneur if they’ve ever been totally broke, and many of them will tell you they’ve lost everything or been bankrupt one, two, sometimes even three times!

Mis-managing money is part of the journey, especially today, when we can receive thousands and thousands of dollars at once in our online businesses, seemingly “out of nowhere” - and go from the state of struggle into having a LOT of money, in a very short period of time.

One way of coping with this giant, sudden influx of financial energy into our lives (and our nervous systems) is to over-spend!

Of course we start spending like wildfire at that point!!! We’ve been deprived for so long, it’s like filling up after a drought - and it’s very much needed, energetically-speaking ... (though I know traditional financial planners who would frown upon this  line of thinking).

Another way is to freeze, and hoard money and continue living like you have none, when you’re bank account is overflowing (this is common with trauma survivors).

I’ve personally had both of these reactions ✅ particularly after I generated $30,000 in sales in one week in my coaching business in 2014.

Three and a half years later, I have perspective. I see how challenging financial circumstances are all part of the entrepreneur’s rite of passage.

If you’re going through this right now, know that it’s normal, Dearest.

You’re becoming a Masterful Directress of Money - and even though it feels really really hard (ok terrifying) at times, you’ll look back at these times one day with so much gratitude, because it’s times like these that sharpen your entrepreneurial teeth.

Stay strong, Woman.

Keep perspective.

Remember how resourceful you are.

That power lives inside you. Nothing or nobody can take it away, no matter the physical circumstances around you right now.
