SHED THE DARK AND LET THE LIGHT IN

It truly breaks my heart when I’m talking to a woman whose been through trauma and she feels so guilty for over-reacting or reacting, in other words for being #human !!! Traumatized women are always the hardest on themselves 💔

I was too.

Self-sabotage and self-loathing really can be a thing of the past tho !

We can feel the tears, grieve how hard we’ve been on ourselves —-then:

Let.

It.

Go.

That nasty habit we picked up during trauma that was never ours in the first place.

Our brains decided that they hurt us, over and over, now we have to hurt us. By telling ourselves we aren’t good enough. There’s something wrong with us. We’re damaged. Over and over.

It became part of our identity, to be broken. Trapped. Depressed. Unfulfilled. Mean AF, mostly to ourselves. Sick. Somehow off. Different, and not in a good way. Lacking....(anything but free)

ALLLLL of those feelings are 100% valid, and need to be felt. Like I said, feel those feelings. Release them so they’re no longer stored in your body.

Then let the fuck go!

Not just of what happened, symptoms and after effects of what happened, not just of the patterns of entrapment your brain so innocently started running.

Let go of the habit of buying into and practicing an identity that never belonged to you.

Because this is you, right here.

The YOU behind the you, before anyone else got to you.

Shed everything else, then let your life be the practice of living more into this real you.

Every day 💜
